It’s always heartening to see your sometimes jaded fellow denizens drop their guard, and hurl a snowball at a total stranger. Stuart Jeffries from The Guardian captured this moment in London’s Day of Innocence. I had a late night stroll through the quiet streets of London, with some roads inches deep with snow, and lacking even a single footprint. Truly a beautiful sight to see the normally bustling and dirty metropolis white and quiet.
